Since moving to New York City in 1997, Jiyoung has lived in various neighborhoods including the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, Chelsea, the East Village and Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

Jiyoung says,

“It’s important to identify someone’s style, whether they prefer historic or contemporary, or whatever other criteria define who they are and where they want to live.”

Her keen attention to detail allows her to quickly connect with her customers. Having lived in both Manhattan and Brooklyn, Jiyoung is especially suited to help her customers determine what neighborhood will ultimately be the best fit.

“This allows people to better understand their options and make informed decisions based on their unique needs.”

Currently, she resides in vibrant Clinton Hill, an area she was drawn to for its architecturally significant townhouses and landmarks. She values the beautiful exteriors as much as the interior layouts. Jiyoung’s aesthetic sensibility was honed over 25 years as an artist who exhibits frequently in New York, Korea and Japan. She holds an undergraduate degree and MFA in Painting, and was previously an art teacher in her native Korea.

In her free time, Jiyoung enjoys reading, sampling new restaurants, and being involved with the vibrant art scenes in the city. Jiyoung is an active member of various charities and organizations such as Plan International and Children International.
